GAGALACTYCA - LIGHTYEARS AWAY/THUNDERMOTHER (HOLYGROUND) UK 1971 LP

HOLYGROUND LABEL LIMITED EDITION ALBUM WITH 8-PAGE BOOKLET (Cat.No. HG 1135) No103 OF 425 COPIES BY CHRIS COOMBS & LIGHTYEARS AWAY ON SIDE "A" AND THUNDERMOTHER ON SIDE "B".

Verry Rare, Long Gone!!!

Another classic rare psych platter from the legendary Holyground label and another essential piece of the Holyground puzzle. Recorded by "Lightyears Away" (on side A) and "Thundermother" (on side B)

It also features Bill Nelson on guitar on one track and is thus also an essential piece of the Bill Nelson puzzle. This was originally only issued as a demo in the early 70's, so this long out of print "reissue" is in fact it's first "actual" pressing.... Killer stuff!

Comes with attractive, off-white pamphlet which has the lyrics written out, along with some illustrations-all in black. Apparently, as noted at the end of the booklet, GAGALACTYCA is a sister to ASTRAL NAVIGATIONS - LIGHTYEARS AWAY having a very similar line-up. Even some of the songs here were considered for that other group's LP "A TO AUSTR".

SIGHNED COPY BY MIKE LEVON OF LIGHTYEARS AWAY & DAVE WOOD OF THUNDERMOTHER!!!
