Their SKY QUEEN private label album DAY WITHOUT THE SUN has had "Holy Grail" status for a number of years for psych and prog collectors. It was released in 1976 and reached a greater audience in 1999 when Italian label ARKARMA re-released it. SPACE MOUNTAIN is the main break and best song on the album. The LP timing for the track is around 4:05 while the 45 is a longer 4:37. The LP references the recording as done at Warehouse Recording Studios in Jax while the 45 lists Cypress Studios, Jax Beach.
This 45 was a private pressing done at cyrpress records, before the group was signed and recorded the full album at warehouse records here in jacksonville. Only 250 Were Original Pressed, and becuase they recorded the album DAY WITHOUT THE SUN, the 45's never really made it out. This is a super mega rare Prog Space Rock Band. A Must Have for any collector.---------------------------------------------------------------------
