Hello there, and thankyou for viewing my items!
Having had rather a lengthy hiatus, I'm back to sell more of my collection/ 2nd copies/ records I think might be of interest to others. In previous years I've sold very rare PROG, 60s, PUNK etc, ranging from cheap record right up to £1000 records, and have invariably got good feedback. However, having been away from selling for so long I realise I need to build up current positive feedback again, hence I'm listing many items at buy it now prices, please check out my current, and coming here at my other items! Here we have a lovely early Gold London rarity from the Rock and Roll Era, GALE STORM'S debut single in the UK,and her rarest. The track was originally performed by the R'n'B performer Smiley Lewis (with Huey Piano Smith), the previous year, but was (due to this very release) kept out of any mainstream success, and indeed that original wasn'treleased in the UK until the 1970s. Whilst clearly a more "whitened" version, this is nevertheless clear evidence of the steps towards Rock And Roll in mainstream American and British charts. And a great artifact of the burgeoning style!
Labels: VG+, This is a great copy, having beautifully clear labels and print, no tears, scuffs, graffitti, spindle-wear etc,though obviously missing it's central TRI centre but other than that, the labels are beautiful!
Vinyl: VG+, The Surfces of the vinyl are very nice, with just some surafcemarks and hairlines,absolutely nothing feelable, and still a fair bit of gloss to the vinyl it's self. Plays absolutely beautifully, very clear indeed! Lovely audio!
Sleeve: EX-, Beautifully vibrant, crisp copy of an original 1950s UK London company sleeve, with the very lighest handling. No stains/ nicks/ rips/ wear-throughs, the top opening mouth,and central die-cut edges are all perfect, the colours are vibrant and there is no age yellowing or fading. A Beaut!
