This 1969 promo copy of Gandalf's one and only LP is factory sealed. So the big question is... WHAT'S INSIDE?? I'm guessing it's the correct record, but I debated on whether or not to break the seal, and came to the conclusion that whoever wins this auction can decide. If you win the auction, and you want verification that the record is correct, I will break the seal, and if it is not the correct record, I will refund your money. But then again, there's the question of... How many of these are still around with the INCORRECT record? Is it possible that a sealed copy with an incorrect record is just as valuable as a sealed copy with a correct record?? I honestly have no idea. I guess it depends on the collector.
What I do know about this album: 1) This LP has NEVER been played. 2) It is not a reissue/replica. 3) It has been punched with "FREE" so it was likely a promo copy. 4) There are identically punched NOT sealed auctions currently or recently on eBay which contain the correct record. 5) The shrink wrap is intact enough that the record can not be viewed or removed, however, it is partly torn on both sides.
