GANELIN / CHEKASIN / TARASOV – 3 -1 = 3, Double-LP
Original UK pressing on Leo Records LR 410/411from 1988.
Limited edition, only 500 copies of this album were made.
The title is “Three minus one equals three”.
Very strange but this means that only two musicians of the trio play together
and try to produce the same great music we are used to hear from the trio.
On the first LP Vyacheslav Ganelin and Vladimir Chekasin play a song called “Home Music-Making”, Side A- 20:31, Side B – 22:18
Recorded live in Moscow, December 1980
The second LP shows Vyacheslav Ganelin and Vladimir Tarasov presenting a song called “A La Blues”, Side C – 21:35, Side D – 24:45
Side C recorded live in Vilnius, 27 September 1984
Side D recorded live in Riga, spring 1985
