 THE IGUANAS 'MONA'  IGGY POP'S 1ST RECORD APPEARANCE  RARE MOD DETROIT GARAGE PUNK SINGLE 45 7" Up for auction is a single from the 1965 on the FORTE Records Label.  It is a Detroit garage punk band rarity 45 by THE IGUANAS. This tune was originally done by Bo Diddley. The record number is AR 201.  This is Iggy Pop's first appearance on record, and he plays on drums.

The 'A' side is a really rare rockin' 'MONA'. The 'B' side is 'I DON'T KNOW WHY'. The condition is NM-, that plays through very well. 
The record labels have a faint signature in red marker on each side. There are no drill holes. There is a faint sticker bubble lift.    It comes in a white paper and a clear plastic sleeve.
