This is Decca Records (DL 5489), RETURN TO PARADISE, music from the soundtrack of the motion picture starring GARY COOPER.

This is an original (first), mono pressing, a 10" extended play recording released in 1953. The music is composed and conducted by DIMITRI TIOMKIN with narration throughout by Gary Cooper. The heavy stock jacket shows only modest shelf wear (EX+) with no split seams and no flaws. The labels show no spindle marks (NEAR MINT); wax visually grades at VG+, but play-grades from about EX+ to NEAR MINT+ with no distortion even at higher volumes and even in the more dynamic passages. There are no startling pops or loud clicks, no constant extraneous noise, only a random and very soft click which most ears can easily tolerate. For those not familiar with original Decca EP's, the wax is slightly heavier and more sturdy than normal. This is a beautiful piece for listening and certainly a showcase piece for your collection. Elsewhere in similar condition for $165! The record is packaged in separate cover (plain, white jacket) with acid-free inner sleeve; both original jacket and white jacket are packed in specially designed 3-mil outer sleeve.
