For auction here is an extremely rare opportunity to own one of the scarcest albums from the Britpop boom of the 1990s.
An original 1999 pressing of Gay Dad's lush and swoony Leisure Time, their debut album on London Records.
While CDs of this set are commonplace Leisure Time is hardly ever found on vinyl with only a very small number ever leaving the pressing plant in this format 23 years ago. This is one from that tiny run.
This disc is is terrific shape, genuine Excellent bordering M-. The vinyl is dark, lush and glossy, free from any scuffs, warp or scratches. The cover is still clean and vibrant, no stickers, rips or writing, with just a small area of ring wear top front and back breaking through the striking sky blue design. The full colour inner sleeves are as bright and crisp as the day they left the printers. This really is a superb copy of a very rare title, a true collectors item from a band who are at last getting their due. The noise in these grooves is absolutely brilliant.
