Description
Gaylarks “Romantic Memories” b/w Lil Dream Girl 7" single on Music City 45-793 from 1956. The matrix #'s are 45-EB-1397-D1/45-EB-1398-D1. PLEASE NOTE: I have well over 200 45's up for auction this week, which came from an amazing collection of vintage Capitol, Liberty, and some smaller labels that are a mix of commercial and PROMO copies from the mid-1950’s including rock, pop, rockabilly, doo wop and R&B. It appears that this collection came from someone who worked in the industry during the mid-50’s, and with the overall condition of these 45’s, it appears they may have been played a few times and just stored away. There may be some grease pencil markings in the deadwax, which may be quality control notations.

The burgandy labeled vinyl on this 45 is in very good – very good plus condition with a small handful of whispy scratches and a ½” nail scuff to the intro of the B-side, along with a slight edge warp that does not effect the play, but there's ever so slight noise in the piano intro. There’s a small manufacturing defect to the right of the title of the B-side, which may be able to be removed, but I’ll leave that to you to decide if you want to try. This is a really RARE & COOL Gaylarks/Doo Wop collectible, make sure you bid today!!!
