Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Moodsville deep groove original press MONO vinyl LP MV 18 (RVG stamped in dead-wax), Bergenfield, NJ address - released 1961
Vinyl VG++ / EX-. May have been played once or twice prior. One small spindle mark side one. A few superficial sleeve marks but overall LP retains newish sheen and gloss with no play or handling marks. Play tested on NAD C555 turntable revealed mostly beautifully clear analogue sound throughout. Last track side two has a few passages with light vinyl inherent surface, but nothing overtly obtrusive. A quality pressing. Laminated cover also strong VG+ with straight spine and seams. Light shelf wear. Stubs upper and lower throat and lower left corner.
