Description
Gene Vincent & His Blue Caps extended play 45 rpm record (Capitol 1-811; mono). This rare 1957 rockabilly record, which contains four songs that did not make the Billboard Top 100 pop charts, is an original pressing in VG- to VG condition. There is surface noise but the music can be heard clearly enough and the record does not skip. The four songs on the record include "Red Blue Jeans and Pony Tail" and "You Told a Fib" on Side 1 and "Hold Me, Hug Me, Rock Me" and "Unchained Melody" on Side 2. The record is the first of three four-song EPs issued from the first Gene Vincent LP. It comes in a plain white paper sleeve. The auction does NOT include the original cardboard cover. The green labels have a tiny tear on each side and have light wear and are in VG+ condition.
