A RARE FIRST PRESSING LP BY GENE VINCENT TITLED "GENE VINCENT ROCKS And The Blue Caps Roll". THIS COLLECTABLE WAS RECORDED IN 1958 AND RELEASED ON THE CANADIAN CAPITOL LABEL # T 970 (See Pictures for song titles). THIS COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH GLOSS AND LUSTER, NO STAINS, NO WRITTING, NO RING WEAR AND JUST A SMALL CORNER DING AND A SMALL SPLIT IN THE TOP SEAM. IT WOULD GRADES AS A VG++ OR BETTER AND A GREAT COVER FOR FRAMING. THE RECORD ALSO SHOWS PLENTY OF GLOSS AND SHINE WITH A LITE SURFACE SCRATCH ON SIDE ONE BUT IT STILL PLAYS WITH GREAT SOUND ALL THE WAY THROUGH. SIDE TWO SHOWS TWO SCRATCHES AND THIS SIDE AND WILL PRODUCE A SKIP OT TWO ON SONG TWO AND THREE, BUT THE REMAINING SONGS PLAY FINE. THIS RECORD GRADES AS A VG+ OR BETTER. (Book value shows $200 - $300). These Collectable LP's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This LP is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B & Jazz LP's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
