Description
British punk classic from 1977. Original first 'Made In Germany' pressing in totally different sleeve. eBay prices: £108 + £94 + £90 + £100. In my humble opinion the most beautiful picture sleeve of all GENERATION X records. The front sleeve shows Tony James (bass), Billy Idol (vocals), Mark Laff (drums) and Bob 'Derwood' Andrews (guitar). Their first 7“, for a big label, includes ‘Your Generation’ on the A-side and ‘Day By Day’ on the flip. Released on ‘Chrysalis’ records (catalogue number 6155 202). An absolute beauty, born in unique sleeve design. There is no writing on sleeve or label but there is some dirt on the front sleeve and a large seam split on the bottom of the cover. The back also shows wrinkles. For that reason I'm grading this rarity:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of £20 or €25 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of £2 or €2,50.
