Description
This auction is for a collection of 12 classic prog/rock albums. The starting bid works out at just £5 each, so there could be a bargain here for someone!
These are all original records from the early to mid 1970s. Many of these records were bought at the time of first release, so there are first pressings included in this lot.
The photos show all the records included in this auction. In no particular order, they are:
GENESIS – SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND
KING CRIMSON – IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING
DEEP PURPLE – FIREBALL
BLACK SABBATH VOL 4
EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER
ROXY MUSIC
YES - FRAGILE
EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND – OORA
CAMEL – THE SNOW GOOSE
PINK FLOYD – DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
JETHRO TULL - AQUALUNG
WISHBONE ASH – ARGUS
These are old LPs and condition varies. All of the records were played in the 1970s and some of them have been well-played. Expect them to have obvious signs of play and use, but no serious issues. There are scratches on some, but none of them are trashed. Many of the covers are showing their age and the fold-over 'cover' for Oora is damaged/repaired.
This collection would suit someone who wants original copies, but isn't looking for perfection. They will not suit a fussy collector.
(I have not played these prior to listing - just given them a visual check).
P&P via courier in the UK is £7.50
P&P to Europe via courier (signed-for) is £27
P&P to rest of the world via courier (signed-for) is £46
PLEASE NOTE: The records are heavy and these are estimates based on quotes I have been able to find on the internet. If I can send them cheaper I will refund the difference.
Thanks for looking
