Description

Original 1st UK pressing of the 1972 “Foxtrot” album by Genesis.

Really nice condition overall and a fully complete 1st UK pressing.

Large “Mad Hatter” Charisma labels. Red writing on spine. Textured sleeve and original red Charisma advertising inner bag.

Matrix numbers:

Side 1 - CAS 1058 A-1U PORKY 1 AL

Side 2 - CAS 1058 B-1U PECKO 1 AL

Vinyl has a some very fine, superficial surface marks under strong light and a couple of small scratches on track 3 side 1. Visually grades VG+.

Side 1: It’s fully play tested and plays with near perfectly clear audio throughout most of the side. No obvious background noise or distortion that I could discern with the exception of track three side one which has approximately 8 soft clicks mid way through the track. Otherwise there are one or two very low level crackles between a couple of tracks. Really nice audio. Play grade is EX on the whole.

Side 2: A little low level background crackle on the first track and occasional crackle on start of track 2. Low level and doesn’t overpower the music. After that it plays without any background noise or distortion. Overall play grade is VG+

Play grade of both sides taken in to consideration is EX-

The sleeve is EX+ to NM-. Really clean condition and only the very slightest of rubbing on the corners as shown. This is very minimal and overall this is in superb condition.

The original inner is VG with very light foxing and a split on bottom edge. I will include a brand new inner.

Great condition all round and a nice listing 1st pressing.
