Title : Foxtrot Label : Charisma Catalogue No : CAS 1508
Matrix : A-1U Porky / B-1U Pecko Issue : UK Mad Hatter 1st B&C Press
This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Foxtrot' by Genesis. This complete 1st press has the rare B&C credit on the inside gatefold and is on the large pink Mad Hatter label. It has the earliest A-1U / B-1U matrix and textured B&C EJ Day gatefold sleeve. It comes complete with the original Mad Hatter Charisma advertising inner sleeve.
The record is in the most sensational Near Mint condition. This record has only been played a couple of times, it looks absolutely wonderful. The vinyl is glossy, the colour is still the original jet black and every track looks sensational. If you really twist and turn this record you will see a couple of wispy sleeve marks, but that is all, it really is superb. The label too is in exceptional condition. The colours are vivid and the white is bright. The text is sharp and there is no spindle wear. When played the vinyl sounds as good as it looks, it is a total pleasure to listen to. I dont believe this record sounds any different to the day it was bought, nearly 40 years ago!
The record is complete with its original Charisma advertising inner sleeve. It is in sensational condition.
The rare textured B&C credit gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are still exceptionally bright and the front cover image is still crisp and sharp. There is some spine wear. The inside is like new, I am not sure the album has ever been opened! The B&C credit is clearly printed on the left side. The back is extremely bright and very clean and the whole cover still feels very solid.
