Description
Up for auction is a copy of From Genesis To Revelation, the debut LP by Genesis, released in 1969 on Decca, cat no SKL 4990. This copy is an early pressing circa 1970-71 on the boxed Decca label, with a laminated cover, original Decca inner, and lyric insert.
Condition: vinyl is in genuinely glorious condition. I see no marks on the vinyl and only one spindle trail on each label. Miraculous for a record over 45 years old. The cover has some ring wear on the rear, and a couple of minor laminate creases, but is pretty acceptable. The insert (which I think may be from a later pressing) has a minor crease or two. M-/VG/VG+ (vinyl/cover/insert).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale.
