Description

HERE is a nice copy of From Genesis To Revelation, the delightful debut LP from Genesis of 1969. This blue/silver boxed Decca copy (SKL 4990), issued in 1970, comes complete with its rare lyric sheet.
Both record labels are in VG+ condition, showing moderate spindle activity, while both sides of the vinyl are also in VG+ condition with just a few light marks, light hairlines and scuffing showing when examined under strong halogen light.
The front laminated sleeve is in VG- condition with creasing, cornerwear and edgewear plus ringwear and indentations showing on the vulnerable unlaminated rear (although in all fairness this is a reasonable example of a sleeve that is very difficult to find in perfect condition).
The rare lyric insert is in VG- condition with a little foxing and a few small light creases.
This is a lovely album, "one of the best popsike albums of the 1960s" and "an exquisite period piece", according to Galactic Ramble. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
