Up for auction here is an ultra rare BBC Transcription disc featuring Genesis In concert at Wembley Empire Pool 1975.

GENESIS ~ Vintage In Concert 1975 No.313 CN 4248/S. Issued for broadcast in week 41, 1983 featuring the 1975 concert performance at Wembley, UK.

In Concert Transcription discs were produced in extremely limited quantities, primarily for distribution to overseas radio services.  This example is no exception and bears a sticker on the generic yellow BBC transcription sleeve stating that it was once sent to the BBC office in Toronto, Canada.
The disc features the first live performance of the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway in the UK.

What makes this find all the more amazing is that it comes with the 2 original cue sheets, both the “bio” sheet which has a pink header and the normal “cue” sheet which details the running order and times etc.

The following is a detailed description of condition:

VINYL: MINT

The LP is graded as Mint, the depth of shine and condition of this LP has to be seen to be believed, it is truly incredible.   You will not find a better copy anywhere. Stunning.
 
COVER:  Generic BBC Outer: EX+.    

The generic outer contains a sticker with the details of the BBC address in Toronto, Canada where this LP was originally sent.   There is also a handwritten letter C written in one corner of the cover.  All seems are intact and overall it is in really nice condition.

INSERTS x 2 :  EX

Both the Bio sheet and Cue sheet are in excellent condition, there are no rips, tears, stains or writing.  They are perfectly clean with just very minor creasing but remain entirely flat and in very nice shape throughout!

Overall this is an ultra rare BBC transcription disc of which I have seen 1 other copy in the last 20 – 25 years.  Complete with the cue sheets and in mint condition this is the find of a lifetime!
 
Postage and Packing:

All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
