Apologies to those interested and bidding on the previous listing of this Lp,I noticed a bad typing error in the auction title that might affect the auction so I reluctantly ended it early.This is the same record,in the same condition, with the same details and corrected auction title,now relisted.Cheers.Good luck.
A nice condition well cared for copy of this seminal Genesis Lp.One previous owner from new, who handled and stored the Lp carefully and bought the Lp at the time of it's first release.
Great playable condition original VERY 1st 1971 UK pressing on very high quality HEAVY and THICK, DEEP GROOVE vinyl.The gatefold cover,original inner sleeve and vinyl are all in a very nice, clean used condition.First Press with A-1U and B-1U matrix.One of the earliest first pressings with 1 GA mothers/stampers cut by "JB" / "Hiltop" .A STEREO PRESSING.Catalogue number CHARISMA CAS.1052.GROOVED SMOOTH PAPERY PINK SCROLL LABEL.The vinyl PLAYS GREAT.

Textured Gatefold Cover : is at least EXCELLENT ,possibly better with no splits,tears or unwanted writing.This is the original first press issue with the wide spine.The cover has no signifigant faults and only displays minor wear and handling without signifigant damage.The spine is clear,intact and legible.The corners show slight wear and rubbing.The inside is clean and the whole cover is bright and vivid and does not show signifigant shelf wear.This is the original very first press cover with the textured surface.A nice,clean well cared for copy.
Original company inner sleeve is STRONG EXCELLENT with UNSPLIT seams
Record : Looks VG++ with the odd light surface line and minor signs of use.NO serious,heavy or feelable marks.The Lp plays through really well with a lovely rich sound ,with no distortion or skips or jumps,very little background surface sound at all,a very clean listen and superb sound quality.I found it played at least EXCELLENT if not better and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the whole of this wonderful Lp.A nice playable and enjoyable copy of this very rare and hard to find true original 1971 very first British pressing.
I try to keep my grading strict accurate and fair and grade as if I am the buyer,bearing in mind what I would be happy to accept.This is a used Lp that is rare as an original first press and it plays REALLY well.
