PLEASE BE AWARE YOU ARE PURCHASING A VINYL RECORD, NOT A CD!

Presenting an ultra rare, collectible lp, to be prized by the Genesis / progressive rock fan!
Genesis (w/ Peter Gabriel) prog rock masterpiece "Selling England by the Pound" FC 6060 U.S. TEST PRESSING on U.S. Charisma label.
Original, 1973 Presswell Pressing Plant Test Lp (as confirmed by "PRESSWELL RECORDS" on labels, and "PR" etched in dead wax.) Matrix numbers are ST-FC-732993-A PR and ST-FC-732994-A AT AP PR
The vinyl shows numerous surface marks, as well as several surface scratches. The lp has been tested using a perfectionist stereo (VPI turntable, Rega tonearm, Sumiko cartridge, Sonic Frontiers amplification, Devore Fidelity loudspeakers.) There is a low, but relatively consistent level of surface noise audible through the entire disc (more audible on side two than one), that is distracting, but never competes in level with the music. There are a few louder "clicks" and "pops," however there are no skips, halts, warps or audible distortion. We have cleaned the lp using a Nitty Gritty professional-grade vacuum machine. Further cleaning may provide further audible benefits.
Although musically enjoyable (despite surface noise), this record is not a suitable, critical listening replacement for a clean copy of the lp you may already possess. Instead, it is best appreciated as a physical artifact of the actual production of a Genesis album, a great conversation piece and highly prized collectible.
The disc is housed in a generic white sleeve with the original info sheet, dated October 16, 1973 taped to the front. (Note the info sheet misspells The Battle of Epping Forest as Etting Forest). The reverse face of the generic sleeve shows scribbling by a prior owner. The sleeve is easily replaced should you find the scribbling undesirable.
Do not miss this rare opportunity to own a piece of Genesis history! Bid now!

We will ship your Lp no more than five days (and likely fewer) from when we receive payment. Your Lp will arrive when USPS delivers it. We have no control over how long it takes to ship once it leaves our hands.
