Trespass
ORIGINAL UK CHARISMA RECORDS (CAS 1020) FIRST PRESSING (October 1970) OF GENESIS' ICONIC SECOND LP "Trespass"
THIS ORIGINAL PRESSING IS BECOMING SERIOUSLY RARE AS IT SOLD IN VERY SMALL NUMBERS UPON RELEASE (rumoured to be a mere few thousand) AND SUBSEQUENTLY DIDN'T CHART IN THE UK
AND THIS COPY PLAYS EXTREMELY WELL THROUGHOUT AND SOUNDS SENSATIONAL AND ITS COMPLETE WITH THE FIRST FULLY TEXTURED EJ DAY GATEFOLD COVER AND THE ELUSIVE FIRST ISSUE LYRIC INSERT PRINTED ON DELICATE TEXTURED PAPER
THE RECORD HAS THE FIRST ISSUE PINK CHARISMA SCROLL LABELS
FIRST ISSUE MATRIX: CAS 1020 A-2U / CAS 1020 B-2U (the earliest set for this LP)
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FULLY TEXTURED (inside as well as outside) GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH FACTORY SEALED LEFT SIDE EDGE "Printed and made by the E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford"
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL LYRIC INSERT PRINTED ON ONE SIDE OF DELICATE, TEXTURED PAPER (and so often missing)
Track Listing:
Side One: LOOKING FOR SOMEONE / WHITE MOUNTAINS / VISIONS OF ANGELS
Side Two: STAGNATION / DUSK / THE KNIFE
Vinyl condition is excellent with a deep glossy sheen and only a couple of surface scratches which do not effect the sound.
The condition of the sleeve is good with slightly worn spine and edges, but has a split on the right hand gatefold at the bottom, which i have tried to photograph. The lyric insert has no splits or wear but some light handling creases.
I have tried to be as honest as i can about the condition of the record, but i am not a professional grader.
