GENTLE GIANT - AQUIRING THE TASTE - RARE GERMAN 1ST SWIRL / SPIRAL VERTIGO

Description

Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Gentle Giant – Acquiring the Taste on the SWIRL VERTIGO  label, cat. no. 6360 041.

The record is in VG+++ condition, there are some non sounding hairlines and there is a non sounding line on the first track on the A – side. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.

The cover is VG to VG+ condition, there is some wear on the opening edge and spine and there are some creases along the seams. Further this cover is in a very presentable shape; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.

Although this is a German pressing, these Swirl pressings of Gentle Giant albums are becoming very scarce nowadays. The prices for a U.K. pressing are still going up and even the German pressings are becoming very high in price. This is your chance to get an affordable 1st pressing of a Swirl Vertigo record, a real must have for all Gentle Giant fans, progressive music fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!

Please also look at my other Harvest / Pink Island / Vertigo Swirl auctions! Happy Bidding!
