Description

Gentle Giant

In A Glass House

A masterpiece from the progressive rock legends! In some people's view (mine included!) this was the greatest of their many fine albums. I bought this LP in the first week of release, and it is in superb condition now.

Side A:

  1. The Runaway
  2. An Inmate's Lullaby
  3. Way Of Life

Side B:

  1. The Runaway
  2. An Inmate's Lullaby
  3. Way Of Life

Sleeve: Single with transparent front window, insert card with different silhouettes of the band giving 3D effect, paper inner sleeve with lyrics both sides

Label: WWA
Catalogue No: WWA 002
Year of release: 1973
Country of Manufacture: England

Condition:
Record: Near Mint
Sleeve:  Excellent (minimal corner wear to outer sleeve; insert card perfect; inner sleeve has slight creasing)

From a pet- and smoke-free home. I grade records in line with the Record Collector Grading System, as follows (with the exception that I will never describe a used record as Mint, so I use "Near Mint" for used records which otherwise meet the "Mint" criteria):

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Many thanks for looking.

On 30-May-08 at 14:42:35 BST, seller added the following information:

* Note added 30/5/08 *

I just noticed I mistyped the track list for side two  and duplicated side one -it should of course read:

Side B:

  1. Experience
  2. A Reunion
  3. In A Glass House

I expect everyone bidding realises this - but obviously if this has misled anyone and they want to withdraw bids that's fine
