GENTLE GIANT - THREE FRIENDS - GERMAN 1st VERTIGO SWIRL / SPIRAL - EX RECORD

Description

Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room. This week’s auctions feature my progressive and psychedelic records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Gentle Giant – Acquiring the Taste on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 070.

The record is in EX minus condition, there are a few non sounding hairlines and a few non-sounding lines only. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.

The cover is VG condition, there is a fold in the upper right hand corner on the back, there is some slight wing wear and some water marks on both front and back. The lower section of the inside of the gatefold also have some water damage, resulting in “tear marks”, see also the photo’s.

This is an extremely rare German pressing of Gentle Giant’s third (and in my opinion best) album, Three Friends. Although the cover has some damage, the record looks and plays brilliant. This record would be a great upgrade when you have a trashed record with a great cover. This is your chance to get an affordable 1st pressing of a Swirl Vertigo record, a real must have for all Gentle Giant fans, progressive music fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors! Happy Bidding!

Please also look at my other Regal Zonophone / Pink Island / Vertigo Swirl and other progressive records auctions!
