A Rare classic from 1968. 'Never Trust In Tomorrow', the singles promoted A-side is a pleasing blue-eyed soul pop stomper and would be more well known and respected were it not for it's incredible B-side. Gentle Influence's 'Easy To Know' is an astounding UK psychedelic soul record, rightly hailed as a freakbeat classic and highly sought after. This is the side the collectors pay for!
The disc still plays superbly despite some scuffs and surface marks. It may only look VG+ but both sides play Excellent. There is a little crackle on the A-side run in but the heaviest scuff is inaudible and there is little distortion on either side. The B-side (Easy To Know) plays even better despite a superficial surface mark. I grade very conservatively, hence the VG+ grading but rest assured this is a fine sounding copy which has seen little play (which the minimal spindle marks on the label bear out) if perhaps a little carelessly handled or stored at some point.
The Yellow 'Advance promotion' labels are also in excellent condition, with a little dirt on the high rim and a release date stamp baring the date '10 JAN 1969' on the A-side. The record comes in a generic Pye pink bag (see picture). This is how I bought it although I would think stock copy labels were blue given the date.
