Description

GENTLE SOUL -- Same -- hard to find, original 1968 U.S. album.  Justly acclaimed folk-psych masterpiece from this male-female duo, almost an American counterpart to Duncan Browne's equally great "Give Me Take You."  Spare, haunting songs, bittersweet harmonies, superb production by Terry Melcher (Byrds) and an amazing line-up of musicians inc. Ry Cooder and Van Dyke Parks.  Killer stuff, and vinyl originals have become extremely hard to come by.  See photo for track listing.  Cover:  VG+, 2-1/2" split at middle of bottom seam, DJ-only stamp in red ink at back cover upper right, number stamped in red ink at upper left back, ring wear, wear at corners.  Record:  Fair+ to Good-, moderate scuffs and scratches, heavier on Side One, number stamped in red ink on one side of label, on Epic label, U.S. pressing, stereo.
