Description
George Harrison 1970s LP three record set with poster PLUS a rare lenticular plate.
About lenticular AI states; "Lenticular prints are made up of curved strips called lenticules. The lenticules refract light so that you can only see certain images from specific angles. The brain combines the slightly offset views from each eye to create a 3D image."
Years ago I bought this plate from an engineer who worked in an R&D department at a well known photographic corporation that eventually had to close. The lenticular project was halted and never marketed. I think there were some of these plates were released but not many.
The records are in good to very good condition. (I have no way of playing them.) The lenticular plate measures 4.9 inches square. It looks as though it was meant to be a CD cover but it is about 1/32" larger than a CD box cover. Note the gas prices on the sign and the nuclear power plant stacks...
As shown there has been some minor box damage probably due to storage.
Truly a rare combination opportunity for a Beatles record collector not to be found elsewhere
