Description
- George Harrison released his fourth solo album "Living In The Material World" in May 1973 on Apple Records. It was his second album to reach No. 1 in the U.S. and contains the hit single "Give Me Love." Ringo Starr, Gary Wright, Jim Keltner, Klaus Voormann, and Nicky Hopkins are among the guest players on the album.
- This copy (SMAS--3410) is from the first pressing at the Capitol Records plant in Winchester, Virginia and is still in its original shrink wrap. Note the photos of the inner gatefold are from another copy. The color gatefold Lyrics Insert is pristine and it and the cover are easily VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched with SMAS 1-3410-Z6 Hare Krsna —? T.M.L.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 47 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
