Description
GEORGE HARRISON - ALL THINGS MUST PAST ORIGINAL 1970 VINYL 3 LP BOX SET. UK BOX – FIRST PRESSING (APPLE STCH 639).
This album is a fantastic piece of work after George’s ‘release’ from the songwriting restrictions of The Beatles. It attracted a stellar cast of band mates to the sessions Ringo Starr, Billy Preston on organ, long-time Beatles collaborator Klaus Voorman on bass, Badfinger, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and an uncredited appearance by a teenaged Phil Collins.
Eric Clapton's work was also uncredited on U.K. editions for contractual reasons, although his name appears on the U.S. version. Phil Collins, allegedly plays congas on "The Art Of Dying" according to George’s later recollections.
An all-star "Apple Jam" occupies both sides of the third LP. Consisting of five tracks that were recorded during the course of the album sessions.
This is an original release triple L.P. The box is the early press UK version. It comes with a 36” x 24” poster of George, and each disc is housed in a lyric inner sleeve in a different colour. Record 1 is lilac, record 2 is tawny, and record 3 is mustard.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition across all six sides. Some light hairlines on all, a couple of scuffs on Track 4 Side 4. Otherwise just light surface marks. All the labels are Excellent with just minimal spindle marks.
The Outer box is in Excellent condition. The fragile lid and spine are in great condition, no splits or tears. Just some very minor storage scuffs to corners. The spine is clean and readable, although the text is faded, the number at the end is difficult to read (see pictures). The front picture has some handling wear and age discolouration but still very clean. Inside the box is very clean, as is the corrugated orange stiffener. No writing, scuff or tears. A lovely example of an original GB printed box.
The Inner sleeves are in Very Good+ condition. All have just light creasing but are downgraded as each sleeve has seam splits to most sides.
The poster is in Excellent condition. Just a couple of very small tears to top and bottom creases and tiny pin holes to each corner.
This is a lovely copy of a classic George Album, which is now highly collectable.

I have been a Beatles fan since the day I sat down in 1973 to listen to the ‘Blue Album’. As a young lad this was the first time I had consciously listened to the band. From the first few bars of Strawberry Fields Forever, I was hooked. So it is with a very heavy heart that I now have to sell my vinyl collection! I have been selling a number of items recently but now need to let the vinyl go. I am not a dealer, so please accept my gradings as being as honest as I can make them without a professional background or equipment. Unless stated the gradings are visual, as I just don’t have the time to play grade everything.
Records will be removed from their original sleeve and dispatched in a plain white sleeve. All items will be placed in a protective clear sleeve and dispatched in a card mailer.
I always obtain a proof of posting from Post Office.
PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE
To ensure all items are traceable when sending overseas, I will use a courier as Royal Mail services are even more expensive. Ebay/Paypal insist that they will only credit or believe the items have been sent, when the seller can provide a tracking number. So that is how I will send all my Beatles items outside the UK. This may make my postage charges a little higher than some other sellers but it provides peace of mind to myself and the buyer.
Approx. costs are as follows:
EUROPE £15.00 approx
US £35.00 approx
AUSTRALIA / JAPAN £45.00 approx
Payments must be made within 5 days of purchasing unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon.
Please Note: If no contact is made by the winning bidder following the mandatory Ebay 3 days, I will reserve the right to re-list the item or offer it to the runner-up, unless prior notice of any delay is arranged beforehand.
If you are unhappy with an item, I am happy to offer a full refund (inc. P&P) on return of the item. Items must be returned within 12 Days of receipt and in the same condition they were sent out. Return postage must be paid by buyer.
Look out for more of my Beatles related auctions.
