WOW.......A SPLENDID AND RARE COLLECTIBLE FOR VINYL FANS OF THE BEATLES!
This is a very rare MONO LP released by United Artists in 1965 (UAL 3448) recorded by The Beatles' own recording director George Martin and his Orchestra. Entitled "Help!" this album features eleven instrumental tracks of songs all co-written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney with the exception of "I Need You" penned by George Harrison. In addition to "Help!" other hits include "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" and "Ticket to Ride".
The monaural vinyl of this album is rated Near Mint (NM) and shows little or no past play. The sound and listening experience is awesome. The jacket features a great color photo of the Fab Four with a red and white scarf draped around all four as they pose standing on snow with John and Paul having skis affixed. This jacket's cover art has vivid colors and would frame up great for Beatles or record collectors so inclined to frame record albums. The rear cover clear and crisp and features and black and white photo of George Martin and a narrative of his background. George produced hits for The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Billy J.Kramer, Cilla Black, Shirley Bassey and Rolfe Harris among others. The jacket has a noticeable wrinkle (bend) to upper right corner and very slight signs of past storage (no seam splits or ring wear). It is rated a strong VG++.
This 49 year old gem comes with the original generic inner sleeve (crinkled at 1 corner but no splits) and a new re-sealable clear poly outer sleeve to keep this great conditions for generations to come. Vinyl and jacket will be separated then bubble wrapped and shipped in a heavy duty record mailer.
