This is an Original Continental pressing, 1950; numbers CLP 104/105/106.

This is a great rarity, certainly the rarest of all LP classical sets.

THE HOLY GRAIL of Classical LP's.

Beautiful 3 LP's BOX SET (+insert) recorded & pressed in USA 1950 -Deep Grooved CONTINENTAL label on Very Thick, Rigid, Heavy Vinyl.

Stamped in the trail off area of the LP is TA 33 016 / 021 ( LP 1 ), TA 33 017 / 020 ( LP 2 ) and TA 33 018 / 019 ( LP 3 ).

COVER CONDITION & RECORD CONDITION : The Condition of the 3 LP"s and of the BoxSet ( including here the spine, the inserts, the paper bags and everything ) is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. I had like 10 BoxSets in my 10 years of vinyl hunting in Eastern Europe but this is from far the one in the best condition I ever found. The records are UNLISTENED and The BoxSet is in Top Form. I looked at it very carefully and not even the paper bags, not even the spine, not even the margins ... nothing at all has any kind of problem. On the front cover there are some traces but that's all. The Collector from which I bought the BoxSet had incredibly good care of the BoxSet. I would have kept the BoxSet for my personal collection ( where I have this Remington BoxSet release ) but I'm having some family problems and I really need to sell it, so it's your chance to get a FABULOUS BOXSET IN TOP CONDITION, like you'll never get across in the next years.


The box is in wonderful condition, the front is a red felt with gold print. All print is perfect, the spine is not torn, and is in great condition. Seams and corners are not split. Inside the box are 2 pages of notes attached to a dowel, this dowel slides into a metal bracket that is on each corner of the box. Also has a thick cardboard sleeve that is attached to the dowel as well, it holds the LP's. Sleeve has NO seam splits, or tears, etc. The inside of the box is very clean and in perfect condition and has NO problems . NO tears, writing, other stains, etc. The back of the box is also in perfect condition, the outside of box has just very mild wear. The LP's have beautiful labels with sharp gold print and NO spindle marks. Playing surfaces have a deep glossy shine, with NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, mold, sleeve stains, or warps etc.

Over the years, the BoxSet sold on EBay for 3000$ to 6000$, but in each description, the BoxSet or the LP's had at least light problems. I made the reserve price to be somewhere in between these prices and the BUy It Now Price is under 6000$ as you can see.
