The 1965 original pressing from GERRY AND THE PACEMAKERS, who were BRIAN EPSTEIN'S second managed band to The BEATLES.
Gerry had several chart single successes in the UK, and epitomised the Merseybeat sound....and indeed the Liverpool culture. Of course his famous rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is still Liverpool Football club's anthem sung at every match.
The beautiful theme here is really special too, and passionately sung from the heart by Mr Marsden - who sadly passed away very recently.
This pressing is the first lable STEREO issue. It sounds really amazing - and LOOKS UNPLAYED!!
I have given it a spin, and listening through headphones it's remarkable how it sounds! It's really superb!
It's an essential album of George Martin's Productions and the collectable first edition.

The disc has super sheen, an unbeatable copy.
Labels are in MINT CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears - not even a spindle mark.
The LAMINATED FLIPBACK TAB COVER is NEAR MINT. An outstanding copy!
