Description

You are bidding on WITCHES BREW WITH ALEXANDER GIBSON.

This is the original 1958 pressing on RCA LSC-2225 ( 2S/2S ) red Seal maroon label Canadian issue.

Information  has it that a large number of Canadian-pressed Living Stereos, the first Canadian pressing has a U.S.-made metal stamper marked 2S, and apparently was cut in the States for the Canadian market at the same time as the 1S stamper was cut for the U.S. market and its label is the pre-shaded dog dark red/maroon Canadian RCA label with no dog.

Reviews state that the sound quality of these pressings sound surprisingly good, and in no way inferior to the comparable U.S. pressings. The sound, incidentally, is superb, and is far silkier, lacking the harshness, of the Classic Records reissue.

Cover has a neatly  taped top seam.

Visually vinyl is near mint with a few light scuff marks.

Play grade on my high end Kiseki cartridge sound is loud and excellent.

One of the holy grails of classical music.

Buyer pays $8 shipping to the US or $20 overseas.
