GIDEON “Eight Reasons Why” Private 1981 Canadian Prog Psych lp M-

1981/Canada/Private Press …..here’s a clean original pressing of this rare Canadian prog lp. The  gatefold cover is in clean VG+ to VG++ condition with light shelf/ring wear, sticker tear and residue top right corner, light spotty seam wear, light corner wear, otherwise the cover is clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in glossy strong VG++ condition with just a few super light inaudible hairline sleeve scuffs. The record plays clean with little noise and clean fidelity. Clean labels. I've recorded the first 3 songs on one side of the lp being offered. No filters were used. Nice copy! Please check my listings for other rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for bidding!

Little-known private press from this band out of Oshawa, Ontario Canada. The lone Gideon album ''Eight reasons why'' (1981) was recorded by brothers, multi-instrumetalists and singers David and Mark Smalczewski with Terry Hicks guesting on drums. ''Eight reasons why'' is not only an obscure album, but is also a great example of Prog Rock with some excellent playing and structure.

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition.
