Description

    GIGI GRYCE/CLIFFORD BROWN SEXTET-10"

Clifford Brown (tp) Gigi Gryce (as) Henri Renaud (p) Jimmy Gourley (g -1,2) Pierre Michelot (b) Jean-Louis Viale (d)
Paris, France, October 8, 1953  Original BLUE NOTE TEN INCH Lp pressing, #5048,
Blue & White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, and with the Lexington Ave address, RVG, EAR stamped in the dead wax, no INC no "R", Made in USA.
FLAT Lip Edge! Made in USA 1955   The vinyl looks VG+, it shows some light checking visually and some light and small scuffs, but the marks do not seem to affect play very noticeably, a very clear and loud pressing which sounds very close to near mint. No loud ticks, a very minimal amount of low background static, sounds around NM-.

The cover has just a hint of ring wear on the front and back paste-on, which is slightly yellowed with age, very light edgewear on the bottom which is just starting to split at the opening, the other edges have just a small bit of wear, pretty clean, writing on the back at the top corner in pencil, VG+ (see pictures).
