Condition : laminated cover on both sides shows some moderate ring wear and a few light creases, EX+ / vinyl has some sleeve rubs in additon to some minor scuffs which affect listening with some light surface noise in particular on the second side especially in the unrecorded parts, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : Dead End.  Ottima musica per un oscuro B-movie sia per le composizioni di Giorgio Carnini che per gli arrangiamenti di Stelvio Cipriani che dirige l’orchestra. Bella musica Beat, psichedelia, bossa, jazz alternati a cupi temi d’atmosfera. La colonna sonora inizia con la canzone dei titoli di testa interpretata in Italiano da E. Gaby, forse uno pseudonimo della cantante ed attrice Gaby Verusky. L'accompagnamento è principalmente affidato a basso e pianoforte con un assolo di tromba e cori di sottofondo su una generale impostazione moderatamente  dinamica. "Realtà N.5" (A3) contiene belle improvvisazioni di Hammond, un eccellente fraseggio della batteria, ritmica insistente e andamento veloce con piacevoli vene di psichedelia e jazz. "Un'Occasione" è una simpatica bossa presente nell’album sia in versione cantata da E. Gaby (a4) che strumentale (a8) ben guidata dall’organo con accompagnamento di percussioni. "Piccolo…ma Beat" scatena gli amanti del ballo grazie a un frenetico Hammond supportato da basso e batteria. "Il Delitto del Lago" (a7) dove le tastiere, le percussioni e le note stridule della chitarra riflettono una situazione di tensione creando a tratti un'atmosfera psichedelica.

Quel Maledetto Ponte sull'Elba.  Le musiche di Michele Lacerenza sono dirette da Roberto Pregadio. Film di guerra dove aleggiano atmosfere drammatiche con alcune sottolineature sia malinconiche che trionfalistiche. Lo stesso Lacerenza prese parte alla registrazioni suonando degnamente la tromba in alcune tracce. Trovo interessante "Nel Mio Giardino" (b5) caratterizzata da un bel assolo di armonica a bocca.

Notes : Dead End.  Excellent music for an obscure B-movie for both the compositions by Giorgio Carnini and arrangements by Stelvio Cipriani, who also conducts the orchestra. Nice Beat music, psychedelia, bossa, jazz alternate to dark atmospheric themes. The soundtrack begins with the the song of opening credits performed in Italian by E. Gaby, possibly a pseudonym of singer and actress Gaby Verusky. Accompaniment mainly relies on bass and piano with a trumpet solo and backing vocals on an overall moderately dynamic texture. "Realtà N.5" (A3) includes exciting Hammond improvisations, an excellent drumming, insistent rhythm and fast development with pleasing veins of psychedelia and jazz. "Un'Occasione" is a nice bossa in both vocal version sung by Gaby E. (a4) and instrumental (a8) well led by organ with percussion accompaniment. "Piccolo…ma Beat" strongly encourages to dance thanks to a wild Hammond backed by bass and drums. "Il Delitto del Lago" (a7) where keyboards, percussions and the shrill notes of the guitar reflect a tense situation at times by creating a psychedelic atmosphere.

Quel Maledetto Ponte sull'Elba.  The musics of Michele Lacerenza are conducted by Roberto Pregadio. A war movie where dramatic atmospheres linger with some emphasis both melancholy and triumphalist. The same Lacerenza took part in their recording sessions playing beautifully the trumpet on some tracks. I consider interesting, "In My Garden" (b5) characterized by a nice mouth harmonica solo.
