Description

GIUSEPPI LOGAN, Quartet, ESP 1007 First Issue, Stereo, [1965]. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This recording by 'Avante-Garde' pianist/composer features some wonderful musicians.  Bassist Eddie Gomez and pianist Don Pullen add a lot to this record, as does reedman Logan.  Drummer Milford Graves plays really well, I'd forgotten how good he is.  Giuseppi Logan is a wild looking guy, looks a bit like Sonny Rollins.  This is early Avante-Garde jazz.
This ESP-Disc is in VG-/G, there are a some light scratches and some are audible.   the cover is G+, it has a split in the top seam and light discolorations on the front.  This is a rare disc in good condition ready to play!
Ver. 1.5 GRADING SCALE - RECORDS New Record sealed in shrink wrap / sold 'as is' NM Appears unplayed and has no visible  marks or scratches. VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.   VG+ A few visible imperfections. These can include light scratches, or other superficial marks.   VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above don't  have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  Some scratches may be audible but are not loud. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  Some scratches are audible and may be loud. G Many imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.  Scratches are audible but record will play without skips.     GRADING SCALE - COVERS New Sealed in shrink wrap VG May have scuffs on one or both sides; contact wear on one or more seams; no seam splits.  No stains but discoloration permitted.   G More scuffs than VG; seams have more wear which may render the spine printing unreadable.  Seam splits of around 2" are permitted on any seam.  Stains are permitted. G- Looks pretty beat up; seams are heavily worn and/or split.  Stains are on one or both sides. Returns permitted if product does not match description.  Buyer pays shipping.  Please contact me first.  Thanks! I listen to each record after its second wash.
