Description
Item : Various Artists - Glastonbury Fayre Festival - Triple LP. Label : Revelation Enterprises Ltd. Issue : First pressing. Catalogue No. : REV1, REV2 and REV3. Country : UK. Released : 1972. Record Condition (Visual) : Mostly VG++ to EX with just occasional hairlines. Record two, side two is VG+ showing a few more light markings. Record Condition (Audio) : VG++. The entire set (yes, it was a pleasure to sit through it all!!!) plays through nicely with just the odd bit of background crackle here and there mostly drowned out by the music, especially on the Hawkwind set!!! Sleeve Condition : VG++. Fantastic fold-out pyramid sleeve is in great shape with no splits or tears, just light overall wear, minimal creasing and a tiny bit of foxing. There is also a sticker on the front in the top left corner which is probably removable. Label Condition : VG++. Light spindle wear on all six sides. Inner Sleeve / Inserts : The original set came with four inserts. Sadly, the cut-out silver pyramid is missing but the other three are all there and in superb condition with no splits or tears. They are : 32 page illustrated booklet / Cut-out geodesic dome / Fold-out track listing. Outer Sleeve Condition : VG+. Also comes with the fragile outer plastic printed bag which details the artists that played and the cost of the set at £3.99! Overall it's still in good shape with some of the opening edge a little weathered and trimmed and a split in the bottom right corner. I've seen many worse though! Comments : Thanks to a certain virus there's no Glastonbury this year so buy this piece of history from a time when it actually meant something and create your own!!!
