Description

Very rare (5000 - only) 1st pressing. Originally released as a fund-raiser to help pay off the costs of the 1971 Glastonbury Fayre, with a limited run of 5000 copies. This triple LP set comes complete with a 32-page booklet of the festival and is housed in a printed plastic outer sleeve/bag.

Some of the acts featured were recorded at the 1971 Glastonbury Fayre, the other contributions come from live recordings from elsewhere or studio outings.
There are long jam sessions from the Grateful Dead, Gong and Pink Fairies, whilst the Marc Bolan and Pete Townshend tracks are both home demos. Other studio recordings come from David Bowie, Brinsley Schwarz and Skin Alley.

The records are in VG/VG+ condition. Visually they have one or two light surface marks (hairlines) but nothing serious. Overall they play well, with a little (very light) background noise here and there (again, nothing serious). I've tried to grade accurately and conservatively (others may grade it higher but I would not want the buyer to be disappointed).

Cover is around VG condition (please see numerous photos). It is intact.
