Classic and first LP release. An absolute beauty this one!!! The excellent cover drawing was done by famous Robert Longo. Brilliant No Wave/Anti-commercial/One-direction/Experimental album from the States. You are bidding on the very hard to find first LP by GLENN BRANCA from 1981. This rarity named ‘The Ascension’. Original first pressing, released on famous East Coast arty/post punk/noise label ’99 records‘ from New York City. Label mates are ESG, LIQUID LIQUID, CONGO, Y PANTS, MAXIMUM JOY and many others. It’s also the second label release (catalogue number 99-01 LP). Issued in original cardboard sleeve.
The same sold on eBay, in April 2007, for $68 (US) and November 2007 for 50 Euro.
