FAMOUS RCA VICTOR SET FROM ABOUT 1962.  THIS IS THE SECOND PRESSING MORE DESIREABLE TO AUDIOPHILES AS THEY SWITCHED TO MUCH QUIETER VINYL AND THIS SET SPORTED THE NEW LABEL DESIGN.  THE FIRST PRESSING WAS A LIMITED EDITION, BUT THE SOUND WAS MARKEDLY INFERIOR TO THIS EDITION.   RECORDS AND ALBUM ARE IN VERY GOOD TO IMPECCABLE CONDITION.  SOME DARKENING FROM AGE OF EDGES OF INTERIOR PAGES.

Contains 5 LPs, a 14-page booklet with sketches and biography, and a discography of each song in the set. All bound in a white vinyl case with impressed gold lettering.  

Certainly a load of Glenn Miller with all his classics and more.
He was truly a man of music and it even says in the booklet, "It is neither fanciful nor sentimental to say that he died, as most certainly he had lived for his music."  He presumably died on his way from England to France for a concert to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
