GNIDROLOG – IN SPITE OF HARRY’S TOENAIL – RCA, SF 8261
UK 1972 RCA Victor stereo LP recording, catalogue number SF 8261 – Gnidrolog’s first album – one of the early few issued with misplaced matrix numbers. Unusual progressive arrangements using a wide range of instruments. Artists are: Colin Golding (lead vocals, guitars, recorders, tenor sax, horn, harmonica), Stewart Golding (lead guitar, vocals), Peter Cowling (bass, cello), Nigel Pegrum (percussion, flute, oboe, piano).
The stamped matrix numbers do not tally with those printed on the label: Label nos. are: AGBS 0828 & AGBS 0829. Run-off area nos. are: AGBF 8028-2 & AGBF 8029-1D.
The disc is near mint with occasional VERY faint inaudible hairline marks. The matt textured gatefold sleeve is intact but is scuffed at corners and edges plus record impress.
