GOBLIN - GREATEST HITS
Rare and increasingly sought after prog gem - a very nice all round copy with terrific STEREO audio quality
Year/Label : 1979 CINEVOX ITALY Label number : ORL 8305 STEREO Matrix numbers : ORL - 8305 - A, ORL - 8305 - B dead wax respectivelyExcellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl retaining an impressive jet black lacquered sheen and in normal daylight comes across as virtually unmarked. Close inspection under a bright light reveals just a couple of wispiest of wispy small hairlines and extremely faint paper scuff lines on each side - purely superficial and not impacting upon the truly excellent stereo sound quality. The labels are excellent plus (EX+) - pristine in fact, with not even the usual one or two faint rogue spindle trails. Clearly, this is a record that has been only very sparingly played. A very good plus (VG+) condition non-laminated outer sleeve with firm edges, including the spine where all spine text remains legible. Each corner is a nicely defined right angle with minmal rubbing and the opening edges are also firm with no fraying. The blemishes are mild but clearly noticeable ring wear on both sides (see photos), mild scuffing on the bottom edge, and further sporadic mild abrasions towards the edges resulting from decades of upright storage. Still fully functional and very presentable though. Excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum...neglible, in fact. Great tone and clarity. Comes with near perfect condition plain white poly-lined inner sleeve. Increasingly rare and sought after prog from these Italian film soundtrack specialists.
