Description
GODLEY AND CREME. CONSEQUENCES. 3 RECORD SET.
The box is in Good condition for it's age but has the bottom left corner cut off. The Booklet is excellent. The Vinyl is all in Very Good to Excellent condition with minor surface marks.
While Eric and Graham continued with mainstream success as 10CC. Kevin and Lol left to develop their new invention the Gizmo which attached to a guitar literally turning it into a new limitless instrument. They decided on a complex triple concept album about the forces of nature destroying the world set against the more mundane story of a couple getting a divorce. The world can only be saved by music provided by an introvert composer Mr Blunt who provides the composition to save us which features on side 4.
This should have been the album everyone remembered for years and like "Dark Side of The Moon" was in everyone's record collection. It featured guest appearances from several artists including Peter Cooks who wrote and narrated the dialogue, Sarah Vaughan also appears. However commercially it failed. Some think due to the high price at the time of £11.00.
A fascinating listen and very hard to come by if you haven't heard this it is well worth a listen. The the models and artwork in the accompanying booklet were also designed by Kev and Lol.
