Description
You are buying a four record set called the EDGAR ALLEN POE SOUNDBOOK produced by Caedmon Record Company beginning in 1954 with Volume 1 called BASIL RATHBONE reads EDGAR ALLEN POE. The second record is also called BASIL RATHBONE reads EDGAR ALLEN POE Volume 2 produced in 1960. The third record is called EDGAR ALLEN POE, Volume 3, produced in1965, with the name Basil Rathbone sinking to the bottom left corner. (apparently Basil Rathbone's was losing his popularity) This seems to be confirmed as the fourth record was called EDGAR ALLEN POE:THE GOLD BUG read by Vincent Price produced by Caedmon in 1975. All four LP's are in NM/Mint condition as they were stored in a box shown in the last two pictures. This box had a library card pasted on its front side. The library card was removed and left a rectangular square that was apparently colored in with a crayon or marker. I have seen the first three records sold separately for $10 to $16 and the fourth LP selling for $30 to $40.
As for shipping costs, Ebay will not allow more than four dollars to be charged for any one LP. However, they don't realize or make allowances for a 4 LP set. I believe the media mail shipping cost for 4 LP's would be around $10.00 for domestic mailing. Estimated shipping to Canada is around $25.00. Estimated shipping to Europe is around $40.00. In any event, you are responsible for the actual cost of shipping. If the shipping cost is less than what is estimated, you will receive the overage. If the shipping cost is more, I will ask for the difference before shipping.

The LP jackets are all in mint condition except for the Gold Bug's back cover which has a wrinkle across it. See the picture provided.
The LP's themselves are all in Mint condition as they do not seem to have been played. There are no marks, no scratches. Glossy and clean.
The outer box acts like a sleeve and allows the LP's to slide into the side of the box. All of the seams and a few borders were split or torn. Those seams and tears have all been taped with archival tape so that the box is sturdy and supports the lp's. There was a Library card on the left side of the box that was torn off. The paper tears were colored in with marker and pencil. There is still a small rectangular library tag on the lower left corner of the front of the box. The back cover is not torn, but it does exhibit light to moderate surface wear. The pictures provided will show all surfaces.
