Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Dutch Beat, Prog, Psych and Jazz records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 2nd Dutch pressing of Golden Earring – Golden Earring (Wall of Dolls) on Polydor, cat no. 2340 003 with COMPLETE BLANK, UNPRINTED POLYDOR LABEL ON SIDE 1!!
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition, there are very few spindle marks only.
The sleeve is in EX minus condition, there is only some slight wear along the edges and there is a tiny sticker on the back with the previous owner’s name, but further there is no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
This is a very rare 2nd Dutch pressing of Golden Earring’s 1970 album, simply called Golden Earring (or like some people call it “The Wall of Dolls”, referring to the background), with ultra rare BLANK, UNPRINTED LABEL on side 1. This is obviously a mistake by the record company and a copy like this should not have left the factory. But somehow, this misprinted copy passed the quality control and was send out to the shop. There can’t be many copies like this, so this is your chance to obtain a unique Golden Earring record! Happy Bidding!
Please also look at my other Dutch Beat, Prog, Psych and Jazz record auctions!
