THIS IS THE GENUINE FIRST PRESSING OF THIS BYG RARE GONG ALBUM :  


This album was layed at Marquee Studios, London in January-February 1971. 


imprimerie de saint michel - MADE IN FRANCE - printed on inner of gatefold sleeve.


This is the first original issue : 

- Gatefold sleeve fully laminated outside and inside 

- Disc labels are black, with SACEM copyrights, and "Banana Moon" as title for side 1 and "Stoned Innocent Frankenstein" (originally considered as main title for the album) as title for side 2.

It is in stunning condition. 


The vinyl has black mirror like surfaces and it plays back with crystal clear audio. 


The thick laminated card gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has minimal edge, corner or spine wear ( see pictures). On the back it has a couple of small original shop/price stickers which are tidy and probably best left where they are.


The original inner is in clean condition - but does have a split down one side.


This 1st press original early Gong album ( only their 2nd release)  doesn't turn up on eBay very often in this wonderful condition for a collector.
