Here is a great collector's item at a bargain price! GONG's "Gong Est Mort, Vive Gong" is a stunning limited edition 2-LP white vinyl concert performance, mint and unplayed.
"Gong Est Mort, Vive Gong" is the double live album by one of the greatest psychedelic rock band of all time. Only 1,000 white vinyl copies exist, so all the psychedelic potheads among us have to fight for our own exclusive copy!
This gorgeous double album is a limited edition of 1000, pressed on 140 gram White Virgin Vinyl and housed in a high-gloss psychedelic sleeve. The front has several amusing trippy cartoons; the rear cover has a bemusing spiral design, the same as the record labels themselves, with suitably trippy French musings for you to unravel.
The album has been opened only to check the contents and photograph it fully for you. It looks astonishing, mesmeric when rotating on a turntable and seems to glow dazzlingly under bright light!
I have placed the yellow sticker from the cellophane wrapper onto one of the inner sleeves. Some of the sleeve corners have slight bends but nothing of worry.
The Catalogue Number is Tiger Bay 6034; Run-Out Grooves are completely absent of stamps and markings.
Recorded on 28 May 1977 at the Hippodrome in Paris, this one-off show marks the reunion of the group founded by the legendary Daevid Allen. The band also originally featured the cosmic talents of guitarist Steve Hillage and woodwind whirlwind Didier Malherbe.

As you see from the photo of one of the discs on my turntable (definitely not included in the auction!) the white vinyl is striking - and the black-7 white op-art record label is a wonderful freaky treat when revolving!
