Description

Good for Your Soul is the third studio album by American new wave band Oingo Boingo, released in 1983 by A&M Records. It was produced by Robert Margouleff and was the band's last album to be released on A&M Records.

FUN TRACK-FACTS

"No Spill Blood" is inspired by the H. G. Wells novel The Island of Dr. Moreau, specifically Erle C. Kenton's 1932 film adaptation of this novel, titled Island of Lost Souls.

"Wake Up (It's 1984)" is based on the George Orwell novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The instrumental track

"Cry of the Vatos", named after drummer Johnny "Vatos" Hernandez, contains a back-masked message jokingly promoting Christianity to its listeners.

THIS COPY is an RCA Indianapolis pressing from 1983 on the A&M Records label (see Notes, below).

The vinyl has some marks, but per a test listen, none that affect playback. The vinyl is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition.

The original cover is in Excellent [EX] condition.

The original inner sleeve, with lyrics printed on both sides along with album credits and photos of the band, is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition, with no splits or other flaws.
